Mé is an art unit whose output emphasizes individual creativity and cooperation. There are three key members of the group: artist Haruka Kojin, director Kenji Minamigawa, and producer Hirofumi Masui. The group also works with a range of other artistic talent to realize its projects, which offer experiences gravitating viewers to the eternally uncertain world of reality. Its major projects include “Unreliable Reality’—The Where of This World” (2014, Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo), “The Day Old Men’s Faces Appeared in the Sky” (2014, outdoor project for Utsunomiya Museum of Art), and “Tokyo Art Meeting VI: ‘Tokyo’—Sensing the Cultural Magma of the Metropolis” (2015, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo). In 2016, the unit will create work at the Setouchi Triennale and Saitama Triennale.
