Born in 1977 in Tokyo. Kite Okachimachi is a poet who has published several collections. He has co-written almost all of the work of singer-songwriter Naotaro Moriyama, winning a Japan Record Award in 2008 for his lyrics. He is also a director, staging Moriyama’s concerts and musicals. In 2009, he made his debut as a film director with “If Blessed,” which was nominated in the Japanese Eyes section of the 22nd Tokyo International Film Festival.
